The Village of Fairfax has a five person full-time Maintenance Department that strives to keep our village in top condition. Some of the duties of the Maintenance Department are:
- Pothole repair on Village streets
- Snow/ice removal on Village streets
- Maintenance of baseball and soccer fields
- Landscaping and maintenance of Village parks
- Grass cutting on all Village property
- Daily litter pick up throughout the Village
- Residential leaf collection in Autumn
- Brush and twig pickup from residences on Mondays
- Maintenance and upkeep of the Municipal and Recreation Buildings.
- Little and Big Duck Creek clean out and fallen tree removal
